Amanda Elizabeth Righetti is an American actress and producer. Her fame was gained through her role as Special Agent Grace Van Pelt on CBS Police procedural program The Mentalist. Righetti is a native of Utah who was always interested in performing. As a four-year-old she was dancing. Love and Happiness, a 1995 film, marked her first big-screen debut. In the smaller screen, she made her screen debut in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a special guest. Righetti began her acting career as a model at fourteen years of age. Righetti began modeling at the age of 14. The model moved to Los Angeles four years later and played small, but significant parts. Righetti was also cast in other movies, such as the film horror Friday the 13th of September in 2009. The film about superheroes Captain America : The First Avenger Fox's soap-opera North Shore as well as in Reunion. Between 2008 and 2015 she played Grace Van Pelt, earning her critical praise.
